VULNERABILITY IS NOT A SIGN OF WEAKNESS.
No matter how much we try to avoid it, we are all vulnerable. We may conceive vulnerability as a sign of weakness—that is false. When we put up our walls, we guard ourselves from fully being loved. We put up our “walls” because we may have been hurt which caused traumatic experiences that we still may not have accepted. The “walls” we construct and try so hard to leave in place prevents us form becoming our true selves and also being truly known to others.
Vulnerability basically means that we aren’t afraid to fully show our true selves—ones who want to love and be loved. Our true selves want to let the walls down so we can enjoy life.
Letting our walls down takes a lot of mental strength that we earn one day at a time.
Let’s choose to be our true selves by letting our walls down.
Let’s choose to always HAVE A STRONG DAY.
