What triggers you? Have you ever processed the reasons why you get so angry, sad, or afraid at an action that someone did or a circumstance that you see? Many of us try to avoid situations due to these emotional triggers, but haven’t processed the reasons why we feel that way.
Our emotional health and healing starts with us being aware of our emotions and discover why we feel the way we do. This may require us to seek help and guidance from mental health professionals which is never shameful—it only helps us grow and become stronger.
Let’s choose to not react quickly to our emotions; rather, we should assess our emotions first to discover where they come from.
