We need guidance from others who have suffered like us, but have found solutions. We need guidance in life as we always have been taught as a child. Somehow along the way, we may have been hurt, shamed, or traumatized by trying to ask for help. Remember, it is not your fault for your hurt for asking for help—you were just trying to figure out life.
Our mental strength comes when we choose to be vulnerable to ourselves to ask for help because asking for help is how we progress.
Let’s choose to practice self-growth by choosing to ask for help when we need it.
