This Mental Health Awareness movement was created to empower individuals to overcome the daily challenges of anxiety and depression with mental strength.
"HAVE A STRONG DAY." : Finding and using strength to overcome any circumstance of your day through the means of Awareness, Mindfulness, and Choice.
We only have control over ONE thing -- our CHOICES. We do not have control of our circumstances, but we do have control of the choices we make to pivot away from fear and sadness. We earn STRENGTH every time we make those choices to LOVE and be HAPPY instead of being in a state of sadness and fear. This is STRENGTH we earn one day at a time. It is from these STRONG DAYS that we renew our lives by renewing our minds.
Strength is earned one day at a time - HAVE A STRONG DAY.®
I first started this brand off just focusing on physical fitness; not making the connection that strength always starts within the mind. I always felt that the slogan meant more than what it was. It wasn’t until I started seeing a psychologist for my anxiety and depression from unhealed pain stemming from my past along with having God as part of my life that my life started to change.
I started to see that we have a choice to be happy; we always had this choice. Our thoughts of sadness and fear can always be pivoted to HAPPINESS and LOVE – only if we choose to. We earn strength each time we use Awareness, Mindfulness, and Choice to pull ourselves from sadness and fear to persevere through any daily circumstance. It’s through these STRONG DAYS where we build our character and find our purpose.
To HAVE A STRONG DAY isn't just a slogan – it’s a daily promise.
